Pedro Causil is announced by the speaker as a ‘living legend’ in Inline Skating. He changed his wheels for blades to participate in the Olympics, but he’s back on the track for these Worlds on wheels.

The nine time world champion won the gold medal in the 1000 meters, after the ceremony he tells us about the race. “It was a magnificent job by Edwin (Estrada), thanks to him. I owe a big part of this medal to him for sure. I”m really happy to be with him in the team. It was a beautiful race and I’m really happy to be on the podium again. And to be a world champion again after four years.”

I suggest that he shares his stroopwafels (the Dutch cookies) with Edwin Estrada to thank him, but that’s not possible. “Every person I know in Colombia asked me for these, I have to try to win many more. I will be on the podium again, and working for my teammates.”
